Richard Loy Gray, Jr.
Richard resides in Wagoner, Oklahoma with his family.
Following graduation from Wagoner High School in 1978, Richard obtained a double major from Northeastern State University in Accounting and Business Administration in 1983. He worked for two years as an accountant for Amoco; and an additional two years as an internal auditor for Champlain Petroleum.
Richard owned and operated a small business in Wagoner, Oklahoma while attending the University of Tulsa College of Law until he obtained a Juris Doctorate degree in 1995.
Richard was sworn in as an attorney in 1996 and immediately began practicing law in Wagoner as a partner with the law firm of Littlejohn, Adair & Gray, P.C., which was to become Adair, Gray & Associates, P.C. upon the retirement of Mr. Littlejohn. (now Joe D. Adair & Associates, P.C.).
He is a current member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, and Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
A former Coweta Municipal Judge, his community memberships include the Masons, Oddfellows, Ft. Gibson Lake Association, Wagoner Area Playouse Association and Wagoner Area Chamber of Commerce.
He is the President of the Wagoner County Bar Association and has served as Law Day Chairperson for nearly 5 years.
In 2002, Richard was elected District Attorney for four years and upon completion of his term in 2006, he went back into private practice in the City of Wagoner.
He has earned the recognition of the Favorite Attorney for the Wagoner Readers' Choice award for six consecutive years.
Richard was also the 2000 President for the Wagoner County Bar Association and a past president for the Wagoner County Chamber of Commerce and Wagoner Playhouse Association, appearing in "The Foreigner", "The Odd Couple", "Aaron Slick from Punkin Crick", "Hickory Dickory Dead", "Everybody Loves Opal", "Opal's Husband" and "The Good Doctor".
